PMA Mastermind Welcomes 25th Cohort
This fall marks a major milestone for PMA Nonprofit Leadership: the launch of our 25th Mastermind Leadership Cohort. Since the program began in 2020, nearly 200 nonprofit leaders have joined our national community, sharpening their skills, expanding their networks, and designing leadership blueprints that position them - and their organizations - for long-term success.
A Growing Community of Leaders
Over the past five years, Mastermind participants have come from 17 states, represented every corner of the nonprofit sector, and brought with them an average of more than 14 years of experience. They are executive directors, development professionals, program leaders, consultants, and more - united by a shared commitment to strengthen their leadership capacity and, in turn, the communities they serve.
The impact of this alumni network is already being felt. Many have gone on to new leadership roles, advanced their organizations through bold initiatives, and continued to collaborate with one another long after their formal Mastermind sessions concluded.
Celebrating the Fall 2025 Cohort
The newest group of leaders continues this proud tradition. The Fall 2025 Mastermind Cohort includes:
-
Greg Abeyounis – Greenville, NC
-
Kellie Cartwright – Concord, NC
-
Danae Diller – Charlotte, NC
-
Tori Johnson – Charlotte, NC
-
La Becky Roe – Charlotte, NC
-
Misti Ault Anderson – Washington, DC
-
Glennis Davis – Charlotte, NC
-
Monica Hopkins – Raleigh, NC (Armstrong McGuire Fellow)
-
Katie Lowek – Raleigh, NC (TowneBank Fellow)
-
Megan Van Fleet – Charlotte, NC
Each participant brings unique experiences, talents, and aspirations, and together, they’ll engage in seven intensive sessions that combine peer coaching, leadership frameworks, and personal strategic planning.
Partners in Leadership Development
The Mastermind would not be possible without the generosity and vision of our partners. We are especially grateful to Armstrong McGuire and TowneBank for their ongoing support of the program. Their investment not only makes this milestone cohort possible, but also ensures that emerging leaders like Monica and Katie can thrive as this year’s program fellows.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this milestone, we also look to the future. The Mastermind continues to evolve, integrating new tools and approaches to meet the needs of nonprofit leaders in a rapidly changing environment. With each new cohort, we see firsthand the power of intentional leadership development - and the ripple effects it creates across organizations and communities.
We’re excited to welcome this outstanding group into the Mastermind community and look forward to the impact they will make in the months and years ahead.
