The IPL Board is Eager to Expand Philanthropic Leadership Across the Carolinas!
IPL was thrilled to bring the full Institute for Philanthropic Leadership board together last week to reaffirm their mission, approve a strategic plan for growth, and welcome three outstanding new members: Jama Campbell, Brandon Cathey, and Tchernavia Montgomery, MSW.
This year, they’re focused on four key areas:
• Strengthening their core leadership programs (ELP & LGS)
• Expanding regionally and deepening partnerships
• Elevating their storytelling and sector thought leadership
• Building long-term sustainability through the Marsicano Award & Endowment
Special thanks to their program hosts this year so far: Foundation For The Carolinas, The Duke Endowment, The Leon Levine Foundation, TowneBank, United Way of Greater Charlotte, The Mint Museum, and the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture for helping make their work possible.
If you're looking to grow as a nonprofit leader - or know someone who is - consider joining one of their upcoming programs:
* The Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy program begins this Fall
* Leadership Gift School returns this Spring for its 14th cohort
To their full board - thank you for your vision, commitment, and service to the sector: Joanne O'Brien Beam, Philip Blumenthal, James Bullock, Jama Campbell, Brandon Cathey, Shannon Green, MBA, CFRE, Carol Hardison, Jim Kelley, Bart Landess, Tchernavia Montgomery, MSW, Devire Robinson, Meka Sales, Justin Steinschriber, Amy Tribble, and Michael Ward, CFRE.
