Unite Charlotte Leaders Complete ELP Program

The 2025 Unite Charlotte Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy cohort celebrated its final session last week, marking the completion of another successful year of leadership growth and professional development.
The session began with welcoming remarks from Jim Kelley, Chair of the Institute for Philanthropic Leadership (IPL) Board of Directors, and Jamese Ivy, representing United Way of Greater Charlotte, whose partnership makes the Unite Charlotte cohort possible.
Participants then heard from Jessie Hermann of the Foundation For The Carolinas, who provided an insightful overview of community foundations and how nonprofits can meaningfully engage with FFTC. The day concluded with Stephanie Stenglein, Executive Director of Arts+, who led an engaging workshop on building an annual fundraising plan - a fitting finale for a program designed to empower nonprofit professionals to lead with clarity and confidence.
PMA Nonprofit Leadership is proud to partner with IPL and United Way of Greater Charlotte to deliver this impactful program, which equips emerging nonprofit leaders with the skills, tools, and networks to strengthen their organizations and our broader community.
