Welcoming the Largest Leadership Gift School Cohort Ever: Cohort 14!

1765931897353PMA is thrilled to congratulate the 12 organizations joining the Institute for Philanthropic Leadership's Spring 2026 session of the  Leadership Gift School, the largest cohort in the program’s history.

This group represents an inspiring cross-section of nonprofits serving communities across the Carolinas, each bringing a unique commitment to strengthening philanthropy and deepening impact.

Meet the organizations in Cohort 14:

* Apparo - Business and Tech Solutions for Nonprofits – Empowering nonprofits through technology consulting that improves efficiency, capacity, and long-term sustainability.

* Arin's Good Girl Dog Treats – Creating meaningful employment for adults with disabilities through small-batch dog treat production.

* Carolina Youth Coalition – Supporting high-achieving, under-resourced students on their journey to and through college.

* Charlotte Rescue Mission – Offering Christ-centered, residential recovery programs that help individuals break the cycle of addiction.

* Cook Community Clinic, formerly Lake Norman Community Health Clinic – Expanding access to high-quality medical care for uninsured and under-insured patients in our community.

* DANIEL STOWE BOTANICAL GARDEN FOUNDATION/Stowe Conservancy – Preserving natural spaces and inspiring learning through horticulture, conservation, and community programming.

* Freedom School Partners – Preventing summer learning loss and encouraging a love of reading through research-based enrichment programs.

* Girl Scouts, Hornets'​ Nest Council – Developing courageous, confident young leaders through skill-building, exploration, and community engagement.

* Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina – Bringing hope and transformational experiences to children with critical illnesses.

* Pamlico Rose Institute for Sustainable Communities – Advancing wellness, resilience, and transitional support for women Veterans as they rebuild their lives.

* Teen Health Connection – Providing comprehensive healthcare and education that equips teens to make healthy, informed decisions.

* What’s Next – Guiding young adults through career, college, and life planning with personalized coaching and wraparound support.
