PMA Founder Patton McDowell to Speak at the 2025 Tennessee Nonprofit Conference
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, nonprofit leaders will gather in Nashville for the sold-out Tennessee Nonprofit Conference, hosted by the Center for Nonprofit Management. This year’s theme, “The Way Forward,” will inspire attendees to explore bold ideas, innovative strategies, and actionable steps to strengthen the nonprofit sector’s future.
PMA Founder and President Dr. Patton McDowell will join an outstanding lineup of speakers and thought leaders for this statewide event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. His presentation, based on the principles from his book Your Path to Nonprofit Leadership, will guide attendees through the process of Creating a Personal Strategic Plan, a practical, intentional roadmap to maximize their leadership potential. Patton will walk leaders through clarifying their vision, identifying core values, setting long-term goals, and aligning daily actions with their professional aspirations. “A well-designed personal strategic plan doesn’t just help you lead better—it helps you live better,” Patton notes. “It ensures you’re building a career and a life that reflect your highest priorities.”
While the conference is sold out, we’re proud to see Patton contributing to the important conversations shaping Tennessee’s nonprofit future.
